Misha has had a long association with "REGA" www.rega.ch an emergency service in the Swiss Alps who supplies a rescue service to similarly remote areas. This similarity has been the basis of the idea under which Okavango Air Rescue has been borne; the ideas and principles of REGA have been adopted and adapted to suit Botswana.
Furthermore, Misha has also been engaged with the International Red Cross, with whom she was sent to the Sudan war, the Tsunami and the earthquake in Pakistan, to mention but a few of the problem areas in which she has served.
Christian Gross handles the financial, administrative and business aspects of the operation of Okavango Air Rescue. Christian holds an MBA in Business and has spent his working life in Dubai in the Middle East.
He is specialised in wildlife conservation and his company "Animal Management Consultancy" www.animal-management.com established the breeding centre for Endangered Arabian Wildlife, Arabia's Wildlife Centre, The Marine Aquarium Sharjah as well as the Captive Breeding Programme for the almost extinct Arabian Leopard.
